RemSense has commenced a pilot project with Programmed on Rottnest Island, WA

RemSense and Programmed commence pilot project

Following the recent announcement about the integration of virtualplant with the IBM Maximo Application Suite, RemSense is pleased to advise that it has commenced a pilot project with Programmed, a leading provider of asset and facilities management services, and Maximo user, in Australia and New Zealand. 

The Pilot will involve virtualplant scanning of key water and power infrastructure on Rottnest Island- WA, and Integration Into Programmed’s existing Maximo asset management system.

The aim of the pilot is to enable Programmed to prove the benefits and practicality of Integrating virtualplant.

Virtualplant’s unprecedented human centric visual experience Is Intended to allow Programmed to see assets and their data in the context of where they are and how they operate. 

The ultimate objective is to rapidly locate and monitor plant operating data in real time, plan maintenance and inspection activities, reducing travel to site, and increase safety and operational performance.

The facilities scanned will include the wastewater treatment facility, desalination plant, lighthouse, and power station.

The pilot Is a joint program between Programmed and RemSense and will be completed this calendar year.
